We have tried to make our pizzas as authentic to the traditional Neapolitan pizzas as possible.
We use a stone built pizza oven with an open wood fire and everything is made in-house from traditional recipes, with the bulk of our ingredients (flour, tomatoes, cheeses, meats) specially imported from Italy.
We’re not a traditional takeaway and we don’t have a storefront that people can access – we’re based out of an old fire engine that we used to use for catering weddings and events many, many years ago (i.e. before March).
Because it’s such a small space, and because we’re not on the high street anyway, it made sense to deliver to your door. That way we minimise contact, avoid queues and can focus on the pizzas while everyone remains safely distanced.
We deliver within a roughly 5 mile radius of South Cave, including Brantingham, Brough, Elloughton, Broomfleet, Ellerker, North Cave, Hotham, Newport, Scalby, Gilberdyke, Everthorpe, North Newbald, South Newbald, Welton and Melton.
If you don’t live in one of those villages, fear not, all is not lost. We can usually arrange for you to collect, but it’s best if you message us first before placing your order.
If you’ve got the confirmation email, then yes. We have a highly trained Internet technician pressing F5 regularly to make sure we don’t miss anything.
If the payment went through but you’ve not gotten a confirmation email, it’s possible that you’ve mistyped your email. If you’ve registered an account with us (we recommend doing so) you’ll be able to see your order details there and also change your email address if necessary.
Unfortunately, no. We’ve designed the ordering process to minimise contact time as a safeguard for our customers and ourselves. By taking payments online it means we can quickly and efficiently process orders without having additional risk.
